Does anyone else have this issue? Anytime I fall asleep, take a nap, get sleepy, stay totally motionless, the tightness just builds up in my body and spasms get outta control. Not convenient at nighttime when I need my z's.

Oh yes, Dani. A year ago and more, before I could move myself around in bed I would have my caretakers (God bless the Taiwanese system- 24 hour paid care for $180USD/week) do Range of Motion with my legs twice each night. It helped a LOT. Now things get tight when I need to urinate (every hour or two) but towards morning, say after the 2am IC for which I get in the chair, take a few steps to the commode- in other words move around a bit, my body settles down and by 7 I'm usually pretty relaxed.

Keep moving as much as you can and it will get better. Slowly.

All the best.

Look! It's a snail! It's a sloth! Able to creep short distances before lunch!

honestly i hadn't really thought about it too much, but of course at night and in the mornings are always the worst. So i guess i'm the same way. lol, i just woke up from a nap and i'm having the same issues, but generally i can just stand up and lean over my bed or something to stretch out my calves and legs. If can't stand up then just stretch your feet w/ your hands!
