I'm finding it more difficult than I expected to track down what exactly is available for power assist wheels to a manual wheelchair.

I've looked at eMotion, the new M15 which Frank Mobility has for $7,300 and Sunrise Medical lists at $6,300 but also says is "unavailable."

Then there's the Yamaha JWII and JWX1 but can't see them mentioned anywhere in North America - are they called something else here?

Then there's the Tailwind which is integrated into a new chai but I am looking for an add-on to my Quickie manual.

If anyone is using power assist wheels, especially recently purchased ones, I would be grateful for information. I'd be happy to call you to talk about them if you email me at eae@shaw.ca

There's not a lot of current info online that I have found, but then there may well be discussion boards with which I am unfamiliar.

Thanks
Eric
