]ok i did coke like 5 months ago cuz i was going crazy with nerve pain
k so then 4 months ago i ended up in the hospital due to baldder infect
kick the drugs
but last month i did alittle

then 2week later i sumhow found my self doing it 2-3x a week sumtimes alone and with others

i feel into a trap if u will

so my question leading to concern is
what type health problem can come with doing a drug like this???

im now trapped but am really looking to get out off it

I like to do coke now and then, I find it very dehydrating though and I get weak from not eating/sleeping properly.

Coke is lame, you get high for 15 mins, then after that just keep shoveling it in your nose (or smoking it) to maintain that "high

I've done a good share of cocaine, heroine, crystal meth, Ecstasy, LSD, just about anything.. I most recently was addicted to prescription meds, and alcohol. very destructive combination.

I can safely say now, that I will be sticking to what god put on this earth for me, It grows naturally from the ground .. The only drug on earth intended for human use and has been proven time and time again to be 100% safe, AND makes you feel better is Cannabis. In short, All you need is weed, But even that needs to be done in moderation.

Heroin is found in many pharamacuticals and is why you get hooked on pain killers

No Leah, Sorry to burst your bubble, Although Cocaine and Heroine are plant derived, They take Many many steps of chemicals process to manufacture, not to mention all the added chemicals and "cut" dealers put in there. I'm sorry you don't like the kind herb, but please do not compare it to those nasty nasty drugs.

I did most drugs, and coke just made me want more, while not delivering a high worth the money. Speed made me evil and insane. I loved downers, and I'm lucky I didn't die from combining them with alcohol, my first drug of choice. I loved psychedelics in my old hippie days!!! I'm lucky that I have a brain left. My all-time favorite was pot, but it had very subtle effects that undermined my motivation and kept leading me back to alcohol. It also impaired my memory, and I had a lot of anxiety if I couldn't get access to any. It's also a bad idea to inhale poison gases, especially as a quadriplegic. I consider myself an alcoholic, and happily I've been clean and sober AND reasonably happy for 23 yrs. I think I react abnormally to mood-altering substances and can't afford the cost that comes with using them, although I'm not an abolitionist, and don't care what others use as long as it doesn't hurt me. I was sober for 4 years when I had my car accident. I quit smoking cigarettes after 3 pneumonias in a row, and being on the ventilator for almost 4 mos.

One thing I do want to address here is the health issues...I'm a cardiac nurse and have seen many, many, many patients....especially young ones...end up needing open heart surgery and in some cases having massive heart attacks from cocaine usage. What people do is their business, but from a medical standpoint I have to agree with the comments about weed. It's generally safe if used in moderation.

Drugs like cocaine and heroin can do horrible, horrible things to the body. In the case of cocaine, the heart can be greatly effected over time or immediately. Cocaine can cause a lethal arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat) that can kill you instantly. If you're lucky enough to avoid that, then over time cocaine can cause failure of the valves in the heart as well as general heart failure. The treatment is normally open heart surgery in which your sternum will be sawed in half and your chest cracked open in order to fix the damage.

I'm sure there are many people who use cocaine recreationally that do not suffer from these issues. However, other substances that are cut in with cocaine can also be unbelievably lethal. It's like playing Russian roulette. Think about it...do you believe anyone who has died instantly from bad cocaine thought it was going to happen 5 seconds before they snorted? Of course not.

I would say that if you find yourself doing it more often, get some help sooner than later. Cocaine can be a horribly devastating drug for many reasons. I applaud your willingness to discuss this openly. It is not easy to do, and you are to be commended for seeking assistance. After reading your post, I think you already know the right answer here...get some help and get yourself off coke. I think everyone here is very understanding of the struggles we all face, so use your keyboard, not hardcore drugs. Good luck, Clayton.

ive noticed that when i do it my nerve pain heck of goes waway then like the next day i'll wake up 8/9 take my med's but by 1/2 pm my nerve pain goes back to like a ten
is it cuz my spinal cord is not together?/

Cocaine can act as an analgesic, so it might indeed temporarily relieve your pain. As someone (I think a cardiac nurse?) posted earlier, the fact that it might be giving you relief doesn't make it any less dangerous than you probably already know it is. As someone else posted, drugs like coke and the stuff they are cut with might not combine well with life. As a recovering alcoholic/addict myself, I would say if you think that you "fell into a trap", you should talk to someone in a helping profession sooner rather than later. Please take care.

I grow alota weed, soma the best "elite" clones you can get. I don't really smoke it that often anymore unless it's at night because it's the best spasm medication that I've tried. I've gotten to where I just prefer hash but that has been leaving me just unable to speak intelligibility. I haven't done any coke in maybe 15 years, but I'd love to try some if I could get quality, and I've heard that the mexican gangs are putting some really nasty additives in it for cut and I really don't want to mess with any of that. Sex was always great with coke, I'd love to try it now...

3)cymbolta 1 60mg 1x aday

i'd sure stay off the coke, unless your a millionaire, and don't care, like these idiots on tv, back in the day i've seen families gone, houses sold....even their children's shoes traded for the crap, one snort is to many and a bathtub full is not enough. you can take it to the bank, u get on it, if it doesnt kill you, which it will in time, u will loose everything you have............no if, and or butts......it will happen, so u make the call, is it worth it...............and of course the cheap man's coke, the bathtub crack or meth is even worse, they make that sh@t with batteries and anhydrous...........plus about a dozen other things that kill you by themselves, i do know coke is cooked down with methol ethol ketone, if that tells you something............be a stoned out, homeless, drug addict or keep your body as healthy as u can and have a life.............and nothing like a great dad sharing his drugs with u!...........

Coke = not worth it. Though some pharmaceutical stuff out there is probably just as bad for you as something like coke. A lot of people with SCIs I know smoke weed, some through prescription (which you can get here in Canada) and this seems to be the drug that relieves most SCI related issues, not coke. Not to mention that long term use of coke is going to REALLY mess you up. Do you REALLY want to put a hole in your septum?
