I suffer from short arms and require the visit of a PH Nurse every other day to stimulate me and I am currently taking 3-4 senakot tabs, 4 movicol daily, syrup 12-15 ml laxative am achieving satisfactory results but it takes 3 ¼ hours from insertion of wax suppository + toilax ½ hour later and 1st stimulation 1 hour later followed by 2nd toilax after removal and then 1 hour later. My abdomen then is nearly back to normal but eating a small amount of recommended food I blow up uncomfortably the 2nd day, I have difficulty passing wing and go on the standing frame for 40 min 4 days / week. Has any one else experience similar problems and what has been their solution. Unfortunately the Perestine system is not accepted here although I would like to try it but how? When my Public H Nurse won’t accept it? I have a seperate item on what to do if you have short arms and am unable to self stimulate.

man, u take alot of stuff just to soften up and go......i use about a half a teaspoon of Miralax and it keeps me just about right......but i use the "Enemeez" i've never had to use the suppository, but the Enemeez are quick and thorough, very quick, 15 minutes quick........but most of the time i can just about go on my own anymore........try the enemeez, you'll be surprised the difference than the old wax suppository......and miralax has no side affects.......like stool softeners do.......
