just got back from my first flight with EasyJet and all i can say is that they were really brilliant. Well done to a budget airline that values ALL their passengers!!

only grumble is that Bristol baggage handlers dropped my chair and took some of my very expensive paintwork off. Oh well live and learn!!!

See my post on the general forum about your parking gripe at Newcastle, lucky all that was dropped was your chair, maybe Bristol only drop chairs but Newcastle go a stage further and drop people!
We have a number of clients who've used Easyjet with no probs, the guy who was dropped yesterday flew Easyjet but his drop is down to airport staff not Easyjet, though I believe legally Easyjet would be liable as it happened on their plane.
In our experience the price you pay for an airline ticket does not reflect the service you'll then get ie take the cheapest ticket you can get and save the money! The only exception to this maybe Ryanair who seem to treat disabled people fairly poorly.

I have to say that when I have travelled with Ryanair, and my guests have used both Ryanair and Flybe that both airlines have done brilliantly.
I know what has been reported, etc about disability discrimination especially with Ryanair, and yes those passengers do appear to have a case, but all I can say is that my personal experience and also the experience of my customers have all been good.

I have found as long as you book the assistance as requested by Ryanair at the time of booking their service has been second to none.
Flybe also, has been really positive about guests flying out to our holiday homes, and that they also really have provided a top class service. Thankfully nobody has been dropped or anything lost or broken - we'll just have to see if that continues!

One great thing that is a major plus, is that at Dinard airport it is gorgeous firemen that lift you off and on the planes - well there has to be a plus along the way somewhere - god it is worth flying that route just for the firemen! :(

Agree Jaqui, on the whole everyone who comes has no problem. As with travelling whether disabled or not, someone will have a bad experience and you never know with reported issues the full story behind the issue at hand.
