Just thought I'd give everyone an update on how the boys are doing ...

James & Liam are now home & doing better than ever. We brought James home January 18th & we managed to spring Liam on the 20th. James is now up to 8lbs 15oz & Liam is right behind him at 8lbs 14oz. They are wonderful babies, easy going and such a delight. We have my mom here helping us, the more hands the better!

Taking care of them in going pretty well. I've discovered I can push one handed around the house while carrying a baby in the other arm. This is especially necessary with James - my "high maintenance" baby who wants to be held all the time. We also tried out the Baby Bjorns and both of the boys like riding around in them. We've ventured out of the house a few times too - my mom pushes the ginormous tandem baby stroller. It's funny, with the twins now Hubby and I aren't the ones being stared at first.

Aside from all the regular baby paraphernalia we purchased two moses baskets which have been very helpful. I can place it on our bed at night so I don't have to reach way over and down into a bassinet. And during the day we place the baskets on the couch in the living room.

Anyway, it's so wonderful to have them both home, finally.

Karen,

It is wonderful that James and Liam are home. Hospitals leave something to be desired as residences. You look gorgeous.
Look! It's a snail! It's a sloth! Able to creep short distances before lunch!

E-Dog ... I know! Ha ha!! I noticed after uploading the pics that they just happened to be all the "hand-in-mouth" ones. We were really excited when Liam found his thumb ... we about died of the cuteness! I'll have to upload some new pics later. They are growing like weeds and these pics are about a couple weeks old. :)

Well wishes for sleep filled nights:) Your boys look healthy and beautiful.

I can't wait to hear how one adapts to two babies! It's really cool to think how people in public must perceive your family...the surprised and curious looks I get with one baby make be chuckle, but I bet they don't know what to think when you are all roll by!
