I was injured 8 months ago falling asleep at the wheel. Im a t5 incomplete but havent got anything back yet really. I was wondering with alcohol, since I ICP instead of having a permanent cath in, is there a type of liquor or a method to cathing that can stop any leaking that may occur to the alcohol consumption? Its embaressing when you leak at a party, and it also takes all my chances of getting laid at the end of the night. Heres some photos since im new. I played football for Washington State University until my accident. Im pretty upset cause I had just won the starting job at DE as a redshirt freshman.

the middle picture is after my accident.

Just make sure you cath just before you go out and keep your consumption in check. Stay away from beer unless you want to cath every hour or so. 8 months is still new give it time and make sure to work out everything possible.

When I go to parties, I always end up cathing every hour or so no matter what I drink. If I don't, I'm usually covered in piss..definitely not good when you're looking to get laid.
Fear is the dumbest thing that we've ever created in our minds; its just so stupid... it stands in the way of everything and it achieves nothing.

You could try an indwelling catheter for the party, less chance of an accident.

Better to stick to shorts and avoid large volumes of beer. Remember, what goes in must come out!!

Every body has said it
So what I do is simple - 2 pints in = empty bladder ; 3 pints in = expect a accident
So enjoy the boozing as I do, keep of indwellers if you can, and live your life, not someone elses
So long as you don't become a alchy, beer in moderation is a good system washout

when i go drinking i usually put on a condom catheter and a leg bag just in case if forget to cath for a bit. not the most attractive thing but it works for me cause i'm not looking to pick anyone up.

I completely agree with Lucydog, stick to shorts, wine is another option that makes life easier. The volumes entailed in beer drinking takes commitment which after maybe one or two too many becomes harder to negotiate!

If I drink beer I have to piss every 20-25 minutes, so I don't drink beer. If I wanna actually get drunk I just do shots, less liquids to come out. If I'm not trying to get drunk, then it's just a few mixed drink(rum or crown & coke).

First thing I always do when I go someplace I'm going to be drinking is check out the bathroom. Lot of old bar, clubs, restaurants are not accessible at all or maybe they are, but there is only 1 stall in there for every one to share, which means long lines and me probably pissing myself before I get my turn. I like to see big bathroom, with numerous stalls and urinals before I decide to drink much.

Cath before you start drinking. When drinking, 3 beers and cath again to stay ahead of it. You can use a cath condom and a leg bag if you like. Last but not least, for minor leakage take a washcloth, fold it, and place it over Mr. Happy. And check yourself so often that anybody noticing you doing it thinks your a perv of some sort.

i agree with the others who say to do shots to keep the cathing in check. it works for me.
