I have a hospital bed now with an air mattress and I'm looking to buy a new bed, any suggestions. I'm not sure where to start,I don't want another hospital bed, so maybe craftmatic adjustable bed, sleep number, something where the head and feet can move up and down. Also, not sure of what mattress, I know it's personal preference but what do you guys like, temperpedic, air, box and spring, water gel, matteress, I'm open to suggestions....Thanks

i got a memeroy foam. its desgned not give you pressure sores. its very comfortable so comfortable that i sink in and that makes it harder to turn.

i swear by my waterbed, but i'm a para..........i'd say u need the good air moving mattress, i forgot the name of the new electric beds........

As a C6 quad, I had a single, then a Queen soft sided water bed, when I married. They were great but a bit hard to move across on. and you tend to roll toward edge, but good firm sides.

Now have a pure latex King and it is the most comfortable mattress and space for my wife to get kicked less by my spasming legs! Edge is not as firm though, compared with the soft sided waterbed.

Spend the money on a quality mattress as you spend a lot of time there and you need one that suits you to prevent any pressure areas developing. Not anm easy decision as it takes a week of sleeping to determine if you like it - impossible to test in 10 minutes.

However, I must say, I didn't like the way temper foam made it hard to roll as it greates a hole you sinmk into.
