Just wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Jim (obviously).

I'm a 48 y/o incomplete from a ski accident 3 years ago, with fusions at L5/S1 and T6/T7, and have been looking for a place like this.

I had the L5/S1 fusion in Apr. 08, and the T6/T7 in June 09 after 7 months of trying to convince 5 different doctors that I did not have ALS (an ALS "expert" said I did and the rest covered for him) and it was the herniated disc at T6 ("THAT" little thing).

Currently ambulating with crutches, walker and wheelchair, depending on distance and/or ice/snow.

Hi Jim. Welcome. Why not spend a moment or two updating your profile? It helps if you ever need to ask a question as the answers vary in relevance depending on your location.

Welcome to sanity.
We live in a world so scared of upsetting others feelings that the idiots are allowed to rule. Goodbye intelligence.
