Ok I have to ask you. When your out and about with friends and need a public restroom. What is your method of using your type of caths? They appear to be short after insertion, thereore not reaching the tiolet from your chair. The hydrogels had a built in extension to the tiolet.

I use these in HYDRO KIT form they come with an extension tube and collection bag attached.

I pop the enclosed sterile water bag, open the kit, slide out the cath till it seals aginst the bag, pee and then tear the end off to empty the bag into the toilet. Roll up the empty bag and bin it.

I'm not bashful or ashamed about what I do or have to do
All that sh... was kicked out of me in 73 when nurses tended my every need
Firstly I'll look for a loo and if there aint one......a bucket...ask my mates, I aint joking
If I can't sit on a pan...I drop my pants....I aint pissin on them - no way
After soaking the cath, insert it 2/3rds, hole the other end of container, and use it as extension into bucket (Careful with that ice bucket - I know what it was used for)
Where I can though, I have a extension tube in a pocket of my backpack with a flannel and wet wipes
As a active person, toileting is a pain, as we all know
But overcome it - dont let it rule you - when society can't be civil - why should you
