All-terrain power chair? Anybody know of a good one?

I've been a lurker on this board for a while now, and the time has come for me to post. I have a query I hope someone might help me with.
I'm looking for a rugged all-terrain power chair suitable for use on the farm, but also capable of being used indoors. I have had a look at the Extreme 4X4 chair on the Web, as well as the Radical rear wheel drive off-road chair. Both have their strong points, but also their weaker ones.
The Extreme looks like it is a very capable off-roader, with its 4-wheel drive and quad motor set-up. However it looks like the steering arrangement makes it steer like a car, with a rather large turning circle. I doubt it would get around my rather tight living quarters.
The Radical looks promising in terms of manoeuverability, with its rear wheel drive, front castoring chassis. However it doesn't seem to have much ground clearance, and the farm tracks aren't all that smooth in places.
There is also the issue of range. I would want a chair capable of around 20 km, or more if possible. I don't fancy the idea of being stuck outdoors with dead batteries - sheep are wonderful creatures but I doubt they'd be much good at pushing me home!
I know I am asking a lot, but does anybody have any suggestions for a good chair that fits these criteria?
Thanks!

I don't have one yet, but am in the process of getting the Omegatrac. It seems to me to be one of, if not the best powerchairs out there. I have been investigating the purchase of a new chair for over a year and I have to admit that after seeing their little promo CD and studying all they have to offer, I can't help but think this is going to be the answer to many peoples problems. It is definately the 'Hummer' of the wheelchair world. If the company(Teftec) are able to service their product better than most, then we'll have a real winner going.
By the way, I am not making a commision on these. It's just that I like it that much. I used to live in Bangkok Thailand for 16 years, and if you have ever been to that part of the world you know that it is not wheelchair friendly. After my accident (I am now a para. and BKA) I knew that I would never be able to get around in a conventional power or manual chair comfortably. Even negotiating: the: streets, Buses, and by-ways of Honolulu (my home now) have been traumatic due to my sensative back.
Check out the Teftec site, and then go to Omegatrac-search and you'll see some interesting stuff.

Yeah, I saw that. Pretty interesting huh? Not too practicle indoors though. It would be great as a second car, or if the Huns were to attack. Be nice here in Hawaii for beach work.

But at $8,000-$12,000 plus, you have to be careful, I'd consider using one for outdoors and a seperate for indoors,,,,seems to be easier on the walls for me..

It got them all where they wanted to be, two of them ended up with birds, by the way,,,. It has massive center drive wheels, ( height and width) and heavy casters front and back.
I'm told it's pretty pricey,,, but, then , aren't they all?

I suppose I should tell you who built the chair too huh..lol It was built by Wheelchairs of Kansas. I don't know if they have a website or not, or even if they are still in business. **edit** http://www.wheelchai...overlander.html This is the exact chair I have, but with a custom built footrest, and tractor tread rear tires.
I use this specifically outdoors, I just transfer into my manual chair right at the door to the house to go inside. It would be a pain in the ass to use inside. Oh, and if I need to go through really rough terrain or long distances, I have a Kawasaki Teryx utility vehicle that I use. Its a life saver!!

Years ago the Struk Corporation built a mini dozer. It is/ was gas powered and narrow enough to meet ADA. ADAG REQUIREMENTS . Electric start was an option and it had a variety of impliments.
Ther were other brands of mini dozers that would fit throug a 32-36 opening also and it comes to it I can build one if I have to........anyone else have these thoughts?

Bolens used to make a two track snowmobile that had a seat with wheels or skis that trailed behind the vehicle.

I thought I could assist you with an all terrain wheelchair. There is a new wheelchair on the market which is unbelievable!! it's called The Challenger 4x4 wheelchair. This beast of a chair can stair climb, is 4x4 and go over all terrain and cope with 40 degree hills and turns on the spot. This must be the best wheelchair on the market.
Please take a look at their website:
