Last night I had a dream (and yes it was a crazy dream that would make no sense to anybody including myself lol) but in the dream I had broken my fingernail on my index finger right hand. At first it was just hanging on by a thread but by the end of the dream it had fallen off.

The entire time (in my dream) it was hurting really bad...

when I woke up this morning, the same finger was throbbing!!! This is not the first time I have experienced this. Just curious if anybody else has gone through or experienced the same thing??

Any ideas of what is happening??

Haha that's funny. The same thing happens to me all the time. Like if I fall asleep watching television, I usually have dreams about what's on tv (It's like I unconsciously hear the tv and dream about it. If that makes any sense.) So, maybe you hurt your finger while you were asleep and dreamt about it? LMAO the more I read what I've typed, the more confusing it sounds! Oh well..

my stress dreams are always the same: I'm in a war situation and have a gun, but I can't pull the trigger at the important moments.

I have been pretty stressed out lately with the fashion line... especially last night because of the shopping carts ugh. I'll pay more attention next time.

Thanks for the reference guido... and yes I know I'm weird lol.

I have those dreams too. I hate them because I have some kind of irrational fear of my teeth falling out. I always wake up and check with my tongue to make sure my teeth are all still there. I think I have a habit of grinding my teeth at night too, which can't help matters.

I get the TV dreams all the time, but that's probably because i usually have the tv on when i fall asleep. In the newly injured days when they had me on lots of pain meds and stuff, had some really messed up dreams. Shows were mashed together, Homer was selling propane and Quagmire's plane was shot down over the sea of Japan. It spun in. There were no survivers . . .

I fall asleep with the TV on all the time I also take sleeping medication... the shows SOMETIMES combined together and all I have to say is "whoa". Sometimes I'll be walking but pushing my chair around. Sometimes I will be sitting and then all of a sudden I'm walking... they get really crazy.

Also while hevily medicated, I once had a dream I was playing poker with a bunch of giant insects, and a spider version of my mother was there giving away my hand all the time. I lost millions of dollars due to her. Where I got the money to begin with I'm still not sure. Also dreamt that my legs were somehow severed in a parasailing accident. I've never been parasailing in my life and only played poker once or twice.

Funny how you can remember those dreams whenever you're heavily medicated huh?? These are just weird to me (when I wake up and my finger or whatever was hurting in my dream, HURTS).

DON'T PLAY POKER haha.

Sort of like the TV dreams I think if you're actually feeling (or sensing) something it can affect the dream. Like maybe you were actually somehow sleeping on that finger wrong, putting pressure on it somehow and then it actually hurt and made it into your dream.

I had this dream when I was still in the hospital right after surgery that I was fighting someone (totally unlike me by the way), and that they put me in some kind of squeeze grip that hurt. It actually hurt so bad that I woke up and found I had somehow gotten twisted while sleeping and was actually hurting from it!

I think things that happen to your body while you're asleep can seriously affect your dreams

Poizon -- that makes sense! Still creepy especially in the dream the way my fingernail was just hanging on for dear life lol.

Speaking of weird dreams..once when I was on pain meds, I dreamt that zombie japanese egg yolks were taking over the world. They would ooze down peoples throats and take over their bodies and I woke up choking/gasping for air..weirdest dream I've ever had! =/

At a time like that ya just whip out a nice cold beer, kick back and wait till everyone's dead.
Then you can start shooting.
Does that make sense?

Last night I had the oddest dream about Shake n Bake pancakes. This had lead to a day long craving.

Unfortunately in my dream I was completely unable to cook them properly, which meant I have not even attempted to cook them today. I'm gonna wait for my friend to come round later and persuade her to make them instead!

Well, if my dream was anything to go by very! I tried on at least 3 different cookers and each one came out like the "first one that you have to throw away coz it never works"

I have never had pancake issues before
