Hi - I'm a para, not a quad, but do you know about Prep Wipes? They're good at keeping conveens on. You just wipe on your old fella before putting conveen on, and it helps stick. No mess or difficulty when taking conveen either.

number of other things could be:
1. what conveen are you using because some are designed to stay on better than others - e.g. conveen optima - You could try talking to a company that make these, as they want to buy their product so will send out samples and suggest things to help.
2. is it coming off because urine is not flowing out properly into the leg back and so backing up and ruining the seal, hence leaks, etc? need to sort the reason for the lack of flow.
3. is pubic hair getting in the way and ruining the seal? trim.
4. are you cleaning properly to make sure that the adhesive sticks properly?

talk to a continence nurse - that's what they're there for.
and talk to a couple of continence products advisors and get them to send you some free samples of different products to see what works for you.

hope you get an answer and get it sorted.

i just started wearing one and it really has helped me being independent. Try a diffrent kind like the colopast with adhesive and aloe mine havnt come off. I just make sure its still on before i go or try a smaller size so it fits snug. dont cath if u dont have to.

Ive just started using condom caths, conveens, and found the coloplast were pretty poor and have now the Transfix extra wide sticky and never had one leak yet although im having probs with the end sometimes sticking together but they are mega sticky and much better than the Coloplast ones.

As a quad you might find it difficult but if you cut off the last part of the open end where there is no adhesive and supposedly makes it easier to unroll then it won't unroll when you don't really want it too!
I do this with Transfix and using the prep wipes first and have not had a problem, feel very comfortable and confident with this set up.
Another option is to try Manfred Sauer profucts they make a sheath which is very like a condom, they are called P-Sure of all things, very light weight and can stretch a huge anmount containing urine before it drains to the leg bag so stopping blow off.
Search them on the internet, UK distributor is a guy called Phil who is very helpfull and will send samples to you to try.
They also have cathaters, bags and aids for quads to fit condoms, caths etc, special holders to make it easier, look the bussiness anyway.

good luck and I hope you find a solution that works for you.

Sorry to hijack slightly and I dont have probs unrolling at all its the retraction alittle that tends to cause probs and it isnt till the urine actually passes through the end it starts to stick, :) Its not all the time just gets annoying and inconvient.
