Yes. At first, a year ago, they were quick and often resulted in three dumps. Now i have to make sure I feel pressure, and then there will only be one dump.

After 24yrs of a bm taking up to 2hrs, (average 1.5hrs) suppositories are a mere nightmare away to me. My bm now takes 1-2 minutes, using the irregation process. I can't believe that I've spent years of unnecessary hours on the loo!!
If you haven't tried or investigated this option, I really suggest you do.

The main problem I ever had with MB's was the residual effects afterwards. I'd usually have a small amount of slime from the suppository come out hours after my bowel routine was finished.

ENEMEEZ took care of that, but it's so much more expensive. I've yet to look into the irregation thing yet, even though more here have been going that route. Gotta look into it.

Lately, I have actually found the MB's to be too potent. I started cutting them in half the long way and it seems to be just as effective, plus it saves me money.
I am an incomplete only 15 months post injury with full bladder return. I am thinking that my bowel may be coming back also?

Cherish that thought, and when you insert your 1/2 MB keep your finger there for awhile to check sphincter control and exercise the muscle. You will need good control if you go natural.

I use 1/2 sometimes, as well.
