Questions and doubts seem to go togeather. Are we doing all we can? Is there something we dont know that could be helping my brother? He is currently at Kessler Rehab, and I must say after all this time ( 7 months plus in ICU )...he seems to be making progress. He can talk at times when they deflate his balloon......ummm One doctor belives he can possibly be off the vent one day, while another tells us No way. My question today is about medication and this
Serquel ...anyone know of it? It really makes my brother loopy, Is it necessary?

Hopefully If I did this right the picture you see is of our family 2 junes ago, Dave is the one with his arm streched out.........................

Can't help you out re medication but your post got to me and I want you to know that myself and others on this site wish your brother the best and hope that his condition improves. Sometimes doctors are wrong and give out the worst scenario. You have come to the right place and this site will help you in many ways. All the best to you, your brother and your family.

Hi,

Not sure if this helps, but Seroquel or SeroquelXR is an atypical antipsychotic used in the management of schizophrenia, bipolar I mania, bipolar II depression, bipolar I depression, and used off-label for a variety of other purposes, including insomnia and anxiety disorders.

Regards

Simon
