Believe it or not, there are several members in my family in need of indoor wheelchairs and outdoor scooters. Finding reliable units isn't the easiest of chores. I am new to this site and what I've read so far, it seems like I'm not alone when it comes to the "hunt".

With SSI Dissability and Medicare/Medicade rules as they are, if your unit wears out too soon, good luck. With SSI Dissability payments as they are, if your unit wears out too soon, good luck. This being said, when not looking for personal needs, I am helping to locate and procure units and other items for family members on SSI D. Lucky me (actually, I really am fortunate being able to).

What I am looking for are two manual wheelchairs, one for a rather large 280-300lb bro-in-law and a lighter mother. The outdoor scooter is for my mother. I figure the scooter should be for 300lb or more for durability. The economy being as it is, their needs must still be met.
