Welcome yukon,
The more the merrier!

Hey, I'm not really sure what you mean by saying your a C-8, when you list yourself as a C-5? Just curious

Thanks for clarifying yukon,
We always say that every injury is different. And even the doctors argue with each other as to what functions one can do at which injury level . . . . and when you get into the hands and arms, that topic really gets murky.

I guess the important thing is to be as independant as you can. What more is there?

Hi Yukon

Welcome. Ask away on those questions, and have a trawl through old threads using the search feature too. Lots of opinions, advice and experience here - though I guess you worked that out when you signed up!

hi yukon,

i just joined a couple of days ago and have been on here for hours. it's so cool to chat with people from all around the world with sci. it shows that we aren't alone. we're close to the same age. i was injured in a auto accident in 1986. i have carried 2 babies from the chair they are now teenagers. i've also custom built 2 houses. i wish i had this resource when i was going through all this. this is awesome.

hi fellow gimps! i'm a c 6/7 quad and have been injured since 1986. i was in a roll over hydroplane accident and it took hours for the paramedics to get me out of the car in the pouring rain. that definately wasn't my day. but alas life goes on!
