Hi my names Nikki. I am c4/5 tetraplegic incomplete. I am looking to chat to anyone who suffers with nerve pain which affects the lower regions!!! Does anyone have problems with skin complaints, ie burning of skin in lower regions which stops me sitting in my chair.
Would love to hear from people in the same situation as myself. I live in the birmingham area.
Look forward to your replies
Nikki

Hi. I'm a C6ish incomplete & do suffer from electrical nervepain. At first I thought it was from my foley. Then I got a suprapubic but still have pains. UTI's -- nonstop -- probably add to this & now from a 3 week course of Levaquin I had to fight my 1st ever yeast infection! The pain is injury level down & never had it until 2 years post injury or so. I'm working with my doc on pain relief, but motrin pm will take the edge off enough to grin & bear it. Keep following forums for advice, too, Oh, I take 200 mg. gabapentin 4 x's a day as well.
.
Good Luck!

I have a complete dead patch on the left side of my "thing" ! This seems to cramp and produce horrible sharp deep pin that not even morphine touches. Luckily it passes in minutes. Its weird that my most dead patch produces the worst pain, but reading this forum i am quickly catching on that this isnt unusual

Such neuropathic burning is not confined to women, nor to any specific body part. I periodically get the pain in the anus, but have found that Pregabalin (Lyrica) has lessened it's impact to more tolerable levels.
