From Monkeylectric:

Has anyone tried something similar with their wheels? Was thinking about mounting something like this to my old 24" Sun alloys. I think I've got it figured out - should be cool. :emoticon-0165-muscle:

Admin note: I've added the video below.

I am a palm tree - I bend, but do not break, in the winds and storms.

Extract from specifications:

The Monkey Light provides outstanding visibility at any speed and
creates spectacular full color patterns at 10+ mph (15+ km/h).

There are things called "Hokey Spokes" or something like that, that are just like these. I think it's a cool idea, but you do have to go pretty fast to make them work.

I have lighted casters that I use to use until I went to the UK. The sidewalks there are a bit too bad and they use to stick a lot more in the pavement, so I put my 5 inch casters on. They use to help my retired guide dog see exactly where my wheels were when we went out at night.

I had somthing kinda like that but not that extreme, just the ones that screw onto the valve stems. Although i never went fast enough to truely make them work.. so they just flashed when i moved. kinda annoying.

I lived in San Francisco for two years. I got used to hills!

I visited one year to watch some footy
The only hill I can recall was down Mainstreet between the hotel and sports bar
The rest was mountain trekking country

Loved the public transport system
Even got to go on the cablecars after buming aboard
Just couldn't get a go on the sub in the harbour

As for lights in the dark
Sod off - it's far more fun watching the cars screatch as they try to avoid me
