14 years ago today, I was involved in a "fender bender" at the age of 14, some fender bender!

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your advice, support, ideas, and most of all FRIENDSHIP!

When I first joined the site I thought it would be great to have a place to go to vent and learn from others that were going through the same things as me. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought that joining App would actually be the starting point of my career.

I have met some wonderful people and I hope to continue to do so.

THANKS AGAIN!!!

I will have to find the thread that started it all... me and the ladies were reminiscing on what we missed most about fashion! And we all started talking about finding someone to design clothes..... long story short..... the idea would not leave my mind and I couldn't sleep one night. Poof "heels with wheels" became an idea! Noooow in the final stages!

I'll respond to everyone else later... time to go out and celebrate!!!!

@Simon -- I'll totally tell people about this site!!!

To everyone else... I really don't know why I am so HAPPY... I'm not going to question it either. I thought my 14 year mark would be a huge bummer... but it has been quite the opposite.

AHHHH LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

Well, it sure wasn't easy and believe me I still have my days, I really don't know what I would have done without this site (and meeting people from it). You are awesome... do you know how much you make me laugh in your responses???

Just figure out what you want and go for it... I still have children's books I'm trying to get published!!! :)

Add my congratulations also. You've done the classis "making lemonade out of lemons." I amd post 2 1/2 years and still trying to figure out what I'm going to do with myself. My family loves that I am available to help them with house/dog sitting and errands, but that doesn't make it as an "occupation."
I hope your fashion line takes right off.

Awe -- thanks again.

Sandy, this took me 13 years to figure out what I wanted to do and it just kind of fell in my lap... I started off writing and then worked for an online magazine... etc. etc. I knew I always wanted to do something to help people but I also love fashion.

It's been a long process starting this whole fashion line but it'll totally worth it!!! :)
