Three cheers for Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana !Congressman John Fleming ( Louisiana physician) has proposed an amendment that would require congressmen and senators to take the same
healthcare plan they force on us (under proposed legislation they are curiously exempt).

Congressman Fleming is encouraging people to go on his Website and Sign his petition (very simple - just email).

I have just done just that at:
http://fleming.house...fm?sectionid=55

Please urge as many people as you can to do the same!
If Congress forces this on the American people, the Congress should have to accept the same level of health care for themselves and their families.

It's amazing how many people either praise or complain about that proposed legislation,, yet haven't got any idea of what it includes,, or doesn't.

As for this,, so called petition,,, it makes no difference. The legislators can still have the same level of insurance they presently have. The bill doesn't mandate a maximum of care,, only a minimum. You can still buy or bargain for higher levels of care.

We've been over this ground before,,,, if you really want to know what the bill says,,,, read the f**king thing, and don't believe everything you hear some talking head telling you.

http://thomas.loc.go...c111:H.RES.615:

here's the text of the resolution.....no it is not a bill, just a resolution...doesn't mean that it shouldn't be applauded and supported. The problem is that this country is full of apathetic negativity such as what you just threw out there and in that environment how can anything get done?
