So, yet again, I had some computer malfunctions. My computer was consumed w/ virus'. Still is actually, this one is a loaner from a friend. I didn't have money to get mine fixed on, uuugggghhh..... M-O-N-E-Y! It's a love hate relationship for sure.

I really just wanted to ramble, i don't care if no one replies or not. It just always makes me feel better to type it out w/ you guys!! lol......Not having my computer to get on here everyday didn't really start wearing me down until, i would say about the 4th day. I was cool for a few, but then things in my life starting happening, bad and good, and all i could think about was getting on here to let my "friends" know. It seems that my depression that was running so deep has only been subsided by you guys and this forum. Reading about other people's problems made some of mine seem to be so petty I would simply get over them. Or i could relate and vent, or i would have some great advice and help someone else, while at the same time helping me. Sure i have friends around me physically and i went to see them more. And texted more and called more, but i can't talk to them about the things i talk about w/ you all. In other words

I FREAKIN' MISSED YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!

LOL...... my kids are keeping me SUPER busy w/ ballet, tap, gymnastics, soccer, tball, and softball. They are totally worth it! But my back has really been acting up since i've been doing all this running around. Plus i like to come home and make big meals and keep my house clean, so i'm definitely hurting. I'm actually worried i might have messed up something in my back, but ssshhhhh....i don't want anyone worrying! I'll get my doc friend to x-ray me on the downlow...lol....
It's sooooo cute watching my 5 yr. old running around the soccer field in his lil uniform, i'll have to post some pics when i have more time. Right now i'm going to get my hair done. First time since last April i've been able to! My bf moved out and sailed ship on me!! yup, that was such a tough day. I wanted a damn computer sooooooooo bad that day. I was wishing at the time i just had someone on here cell phone number.....i watched for hours while he packed up room by room.... no, not cuz i'm crazy, but because he was NOT taking any of my stuff! lol.....anyways...he wanted to continue "dating", but live in different places.....ya, well, i was a mess...of course i agreed. But you guys know what happened? Even though i'm already financially on my own, i've lived w/ my bf since my accident. And even though i never thought really that i was dependant on him, i guess in a few very small ways, i was. For example, his gut was PERFECT lumbar support for my back at night when we spooned!! What? That's a BIG deal!!! lol....really.... Anywho, after just a few weeks, he decided "oh baby, i love you, i still wanna be w/ you, i miss the kids, i miss you...i wanna come back..." in the fine print but i'm going to leave ALL my stuff in storage and the very next time i get the slightest bit unhappy i'm out!!

Well, yes, of course, i love the guy, so he came back... i missed him too, well some of him, like his belly....anyways not the point.... ;) I did learn that i CAN live by myself w/ my kids and still be just fine. I can do it all. I find that the hardest thing in the whole world is getting my trash outside to the trash cans and then getting them to the road, my lil ones are just that. Little and not quite strong enough. But i made it w/ some friendly help, and i feel better about myself. There will be no more walking over April anymore, cuz he actually screwed things up for himself. Now i KNOW what i can do, and i'm perfectly happy w/ it either way.

I gotta go, i would say more, ya'll already know that lol, but hair appt!!!!!!! yeah!!!!! I"ll come back afterwards, if i have time between practice and the games today....

a final note....... I really appreciate all of you here that have given me advice, listened to mine, or have just been there to joke around w/. It's means more to me obviously than i even knew. But someone of you i really dislike and i don't have to hear back from you!! lol, j/k

ttya'll later xoxoxoxoss

Hey April, I was thinking just yesterday 'whatever happened to mad Mx? So, since I'm sometimes one you can dislike, let me be the first to welcome you back. Do take care of that back.

Oh i will vent, and vent, and vent, and vent....till my filter runs dry...okay, so that was corny, but i'm in a very good and corny kinda mood.....
I've been looking at those lil thingys....wandering if it would be good for me or not....i'm starting some college classes online though, and after i'm done w/ that i'm going to be working from home online as well, so i really need to make sure that whatever i do buy that it will be a purchase for those things later on as well. If i can't get it fixed w/ some help from a friend, i will definitely check into it though, thanks!!

What a nice long post. You've been through a lot in the last little while. Hope your back is okay. It is the little things like getting the trash down to the street that frustrate me also. Or just being able to move things around in my garden or any other little things.
I'm so glad you have the knowledge that you can make it on your own. It's nicer with the help and company of another, but it's always good to know that you can do it yourself.
What kind of classes are you taking online? I'm considerring this also, but I really like going into the regular classroom and having that interaction.
Glad you're back online.

Exactly! My bf has been getting i'm sure from his damn pornsites...i only go here, my facebook, maybe myspace, and just a few other places... But ever since he's been w/ me, i've fought off viruses left and right!! Finally, it had enough....but i can't keep him from those sites. Actually yesterday i found them again, on this computer! Couldn't believe it. A man that still wont have sex, but yet HAS to look at his porn. He got defensive of course and said, "April, you won't find a guy who doesn't occassionally look at porn on the internet...." Whatever...that's not the point. it's the hiding, lying, and just not touching me part that pisses me off...anyways...that's another long story...thx for the song!!!

I LOVED IT, JUST MY TYPE...i might have to download it later....

Well, i decided to go ahead w/ the medical transcriptionist career from home. I have a lot of docs as friends that told me they would give me as much business as i could handle. So, i'm excited. My long-term goal is to have a few girls, working beneath me eventually. I love money. This is the first time in my adult life that i've really had to struggle and i'm done w/ it. I grew up completely poor from the south, with my grandma making most of my clothes and walmart clothes and shoes until i was old enough to work myself. I'm not materialistic, i promise, but we are in a world where w/out money you can't enjoy hardly anything anymore. I haven't spent money on myself since before my accident and i haven't been able to.....nothing but things my kids need. Not even the membership for the gym, so i'm going to change all that.

I decided to go w/ FutureMT...i haven't started just yet, but in a few weeks when taxes come back i'm jumping on it. I want to try and be done w/ it in under 3 months IF it's possible. I"ve already taken most of the courses, and i just figured w/ my 10 yrs experience in the medical field they might cut me a break w/ the getting a job sooner thing...i dunno...but i'm going for it...

In relation to viri..........Windoze sucks, here is a link to something that will be virus free and yet will give you the GUI interface your used to with Microsuck http://www.linuxmint.com/ extract the ISO file out onto disk and do the best thing on the planet to fix all variants of Mr.Gates so called operating systems (FORMAT C: )

If your worried about running any particular software geared for Windoze, there is a program built in known as wine that will run a virtual C: drive to sort them.......HDD taken down or you don't fancy the big change...... http://puppylinux.org/main/index.php?file=...g%20Started.htm

With the above,Flash drive is best, Computer on the go.........Simple,once extracted, boot to your BIOS (normally an f2 key press) then into your boot order, walla, change to your generic drive(USB).....all viri free and no crap to deal with.....Plus,,,,,,,,,,FREE, nice to make the odd donation though...

Fancy a challenge....... http://www.gentoo.org/

Regards and glad to hear your back up and running

If your BF goes to porn sites you are doomed. At least until you put password protect on your computer (do your friends NOW before he f*@ks it up, so to speak) so he cannot use it. This is not a courtesy issue. i mean everyone know porn sites are death to computers, so since he has proven he cannot follow the rule, he's off line. incidentally, how do your know he didn't come back just to get on the porn sites? What do you think, Gordon?

Viri are not just linked to porn sites.....it's vulnerable systems that get hit with virus, malware, spyware, adaware etc, all these only show how much of a piece of crap Gate's peddles as it's vulnerabilities within the OS.......With windoze.....Firewalls make no dif.......puff goes protection in no length of time MX

Hey Mx

Great to see you're back online, and through the bad patch. Didn't kill you and you sound stronger... maybe the old saying is true!

Glad you're working on "you" and "next". When you find your own contentment, everything and everyone around you will sing to your tune.

Take care

I guess i could have specified, i was just in a hurry. it's his parent's computer, he got it a few days after moving back in. And on the first night, that's where he went!! I'm not sure what the future holds, right now i'm really just trying to make it day by day w/ my kids. As i'm typing right now, he's out of town, out for a night out w/ all my car buddies. I have the kids here....

I finally got my hair fixed, and i honestly ( not wanting to brag, but hey, it's all i got ) think i'm totally SEXY with it! I just knew he would want to take me out, or do something w/ me, but nope. He's back home and going out tonight, and paintballing tomorrow. And i'm still not getting any!!!! But supposedly he's having some seriously bad issues going on w/ his body. Honestly he's been showing all the signs of some of my other patients that ended up w/ colon cancer or maybe just polyps. I"m worried and he has no insurance. It's one reason i've been able to stick around w/ the no sex thing. It's SORT OF health related....

Pornography is like literature, running the full gamut from the sublime to the ridiculous. And nestled within that spectrum we also find the criminal and insane.

From a purely aesthetic perspective, photographic pornography is limited by the fact that it is a visual medium. Therefore things are portrayed in such a way as to be exciting as SEEN.

But the subjective experience of sex is a tactile thing and the most enjoyable sensations can be felt without any particular visual signature.

Therefore, even benign pornography cannot portray sex at its most enjoyable.

Best,

Gordon

Hey there chickie, glad to see things are perking up for you too! Keep on keeping on, make smart choices. You have so much heart that you'll be able to get back on top in no time.
I'm no good with dude advice, though! But you can PM me and I'll give you a hand with making your computer spotless. Windows, Mac, or Linux. I agree with your sentiment with your computer and the forum, etc. I really think my computer has been a godsend since my injury. I'm very thankful to have the tech knowledge that I do. Plus, I am swapping computer help with the guys next door, who own a salon together. I shall soon join you in the sexy hair ranks.

Glad to see you're pushing your winter blechs away. Oh, and are people from Way Up North, up here on the tundra, considered Yankees, in a Southern estimation? Or are we different, like Canadians or something? Always wondered that.

Anyway, happy Pi day!

lol, ya'll are definitely different in your own way. But also the same in a similar way, make sense? I've been up north and been treated completely different from the way i would have been treated down south. Not saying it's worse, just different. But canada different? no, i don't think so, i've been there, and it was different in a "different" way...lol...got me??
