Are you talking cleaning the inside of the bag/flushing it out? I use plain water. Personally I wouldn't want to use bleach as you're not supposed to touch it with your skin, so I wouldn't want any residue of it inside a urine bag. I know you rinse it out etc but personally I wouldn't want to risk it and think plain water is adequate.

I'm another one who just uses water. I've made up a connector which pushes on the tap and I half-fill the bag, shake it, drain it, and repeat another two times.
Manufacturer suggests changing bags every seven days. I use them longer.

i use a product that's made just for cleaning urinary and ostomy appliances it's called UROLUX. the crystal build-ups are dissolved and unpleasant odors are eliminated. the bottle says not to use vinegar or bleach or toilet chemicals because these chemicals will harden and/or distort rubber, damage plastics and cause unpleasant or embarassing odors. you only use a half ounce of this product mixed with a cup of water. this product has phosphoric acid. i've used it forever and it works extremely well.
