Went to my Urologist a couple weeks ago and found 4 rocks. 1 in my urethra, 2 big ones in my right kidney and another big one in my left. Had surgery on the urethra last week, no problems. Going Monday to get the stint removed and discuss the next surgery for the big stones. My biggest problem is my blood pressure caused from AD. My doc said they were too big to blast so I'll get the knife. Question - has anyone had this surgery, if so any problems, etc.?

I have had them but small ones... not big enough to have surgery... in fact I think I have one NOW. My kidney is killing me!!! Good luck with your surgery!

Thank you Angel - I had a large stone in '85 and they put in the water and blasted with shock waves, when I woke up in recovery I thought my head was going to explode from the high blood pressure AD. They were just starting to use the shock surgery and I believe they were experimenting with quads. They said it was great for the AB's. Hope you feel better soon.
