A local radio station has a program where listeners phone in and let everyone know of their reason to feel good whether it be that they are getting married, graduating, going on vacation, eating there favorite ice cream or even got lucky the previous evening. The comments are often silly, funny and sometimes entertaining. Lets see where it takes us if anywhere at all.

Here's mine. Our basketball team thrashed our opponents in a game yesterday and I managed to score a basket(this doesn't happen often) by stealing the ball from an opponent under the basket and putting up a snap shot. Woohoo!! We're all pretty stoked.

Going hunting or fishing. Not the catching/shooting,, just the going gets me off.

Then there's playing with my year old grandson.

There are probably more,, but those are two biggies.

Some friends came over Thurs., and one of them brought her 2-month-old daughter with her. I got to hold the baby for a while, and it was great! There's nothing like the feeling of holding a tiny baby. I reminded me of when my kids were babies, especially my daughter.

Chess, I have been studying this marvel now for over 20 years, this presses all the right buttons for me, I meet up with a friend of mine every month or so to spend a weekend indulged in a battle of the minds.

The snow that hasn't melted one bit since the beginning of winter (first flakes for us were Oct 6) is finally almost totally gone, and the mushy ground is pushing up little leaves of grass. FINALLY.

Also, my windows are open and I'm airing out the house and garage. Sunshine feels fantastic!

You guys all trump me! I finished my bowel program last night just 2 minutesbefore the hour. I felt pretty good about that. Um.....yeah. So....

Oh, I got one!!! I exchanged my 4" sofa legs about a week ago for 8" ones, allowing me to easily get on and off my couch again.

After spending an hour or so rolling around on the ground, I finished extending the bed of my trailer by drilling and bolting on a piece of tread-plate and relocated the tail-gate ramp. I can at last use it to transport my new, larger scooter. It feels good that I managed this without assistance. Mind you, getting up off the ground would have made a good YouTube clip :)

I got to hang out with ches all day Saturday... got offered to try out the sip and puff air rifle... I passed. But as I watched ches, I decided to look into it (more her encouraging me to get one so we can play with a paint gun lol) and it looks like I will be getting a "suck and blow" gun :)

It was 60 degrees F today, with sunshine and only a bit of wind (at least early this afternoon). Spring is wonderful! Even though the trees have been blooming since mid-January, the air finally feels like spring.

(The suck-and-blow gun sounds like fun, Ang.)

As we have all noticed - Spring is arriving
Started the Busa up a few times last week to warm her up after a cold winter
Got the front tyre off to give it a new boot
Now stripping the calipers and touching up the paintwork at the front
Put the new boot on - turn her around and check out the rear end
MOT due at end of month
Then RIDE.......................

I did a pretty decent burnout with my truck yesterday so that put smile on my face. But lately the great weather has been making me happy. we have this great accessible appartment that has 6 4foot windows side by side that the sun shines through in the morning. I love the sun!

Nice to hear all you northern hemisphereans are enjoying the returning sunshine, sounds like you had a rough winter.
For me it's the opposite. Hasn't rained here for 4 months, not a bloody drop. Constant never ending sunshine actually starts to drive you a bit nuts.
So on Saturday it clouded over and spittled a wee bit of precipitation. Kids were outside dancing around and the smell was amazing. Love the rain, but I'll be sick of it in a couple of months, when my tyres are wet they squeak on the wooden floors and drive my wife crazy. If I want to push her buttons I do a little squeaky dance.

Also I got a Freewheel attachment and used it for the first time at work out in the forest. Brilliant. I just sailed over the gravelly bush tracks. It made me feel good.

my daughter fainted at school today and we took her to the er because she wasn't able to speak and her left side was weak and her left pupli was dialated. was happy when she was deemed a ok. she also got an scholarship offer for west point! this ended up being a good day after all.
hi fellow gimps! i'm a c 6/7 quad and have been injured since 1986. i was in a roll over hydroplane accident and it took hours for the paramedics to get me out of the car in the pouring rain. that definately wasn't my day. but alas life goes on!

I hope they had an explanation for this. It doesn't sound normal to me. I wish her the best. You, too. Congratulations on the scholarship offer.

Woke early one morning,
the earth lay cool and still,
when suddenly a tiny bird,
perched on my window sill,
it sang a song so lovely,
so carefree and so gay,
that slowly all my troubles,
began to slip away,
it sang of far off places,
of laughter and of fun,
it seemed his very song,
brought out the morning sun,
I pulled back the covers,
and crept slowly out of bed,
and gently shut the window,
and crushed his freaking head,
I'm not a morning person

sorry this is trivial by comparison:

I've finished a lot of paperwork - desk half way clean. Spring seems to be coming to Germany (yes, birds, too, John!). And on Saturday, I'm going to France with pupils. That's stressful, but means a great change from conferences, conferences and conferences ...
