I had Dysport injection of 5 vials to lessen the spasticity of my left leg about three weeks ago. The history of my left leg is that it is so tight and when ever I stand, I am in a plantar flexed position, (tiptoe position) while my right leg adjusts to support it. While at bed, it is so tight that it straightens up even while sleeping; finally, there are times that while I am in my wheelchair, it straightens up because of the tightness.

All of that has gone now. Hopefully, the dysport can last for several months. HOWEVER, my problem is that I have a hard time straightening up the left leg now. It involuntarily contracts inward. I try to walk but it becomes difficult.

May i request any exercises or advise I can do which will extremely help to improve the muscles? or make most of the dysport while it is preventing hyperextension.

What is ironical is that if before the leg is tight and straightens up, now it curls inside. Your advise will be most appreciated.

Thanks Simon for the link.
The botox was so storng that it removed my hyperextension but now curls my leg inward making the hamstring pull it inward.
