I just thought I'd share we got a call from our Adoption Worker yesterday with a possible match. We set up a meeting with the birth parents for Monday, we don't know much except they are both in the 11th grade, live in NJ and are expecting a baby girl on July 12th. I'm so excited, it's a good thing Brady is more mellow or I'd have already named the baby and went shopping. Brady's got the mind set we're going on the biggest job interview ever, and he's very right. If they pick us they are giving us a incredible gift, I can't even think of what they must be feeling.

They picked us!!!!!!
It felt like my heart was in my throat meeting them, the four of us seemed to really click (as much as two 30 yr olds can click with two 17 yr olds). We talked for 5 strait hours on Monday working out what both sides want (how much of a open adoption it will be), for their age they both have really good heads on their shoulders. We also met with both of their parents this after noon, everyone seems on board. We won't be 100% at ease till she's born and it's final but we both have a good feeling.

Ericr:Yes Brady can ejaculate and we have seen a Fertility Doctor, he said everything was fine for us to try and get me pregnant. We've always wanted to adopt and have talked a lot about it since we've been together. I had a tough time giving birth both times and the birth of Jazmine ended up with a emergancy c-section, adoption just seemed like the best choice for us.

If anyone has a real cute baby girl name don't be shy.

name her after a dead realative. i named one girl anna rachel and another riley katherine. there are so many great names that i picked a family name just to narrow the choice. my daughter still bitches that i didn't name her after my grandmother winona. but riley really likes her name. she was named for a blind civil war vet.
hi fellow gimps! i'm a c 6/7 quad and have been injured since 1986. i was in a roll over hydroplane accident and it took hours for the paramedics to get me out of the car in the pouring rain. that definately wasn't my day. but alas life goes on!

We got to spend all day yesterday with Kiersten and Micah ( the birth parets). It was a real nice time for us to all get to know each other more. It means a lot to us that they know how much we want this to be a open adoption and once she is born we're not going to shut them out.

I heard the name Jerzee and love it but Brady say's it's to silly, I also like Jorja Grace.
Brady loves Ava Grace
Jazmine wants to name her belle (so they can both have princess names)
Brayden likes Megan

We gave all our boys family names so each one has a story behind it.
I think try to think what she will be like when she is 50. Does she want to be a 50 year old Jerzee.

Something like Grace, Ava, Megan are timeless classic.

We'd never really name her Jerzee it's just something I think is cute, Jerzee the Jersey girl is just to much. We've been talking about names most the day, going threw all the books and at the moment we like Izabelle Grace. Who knows if it will stick, we went threw many names when I was pregnant with Jazmine. Naming Brayden was easy he's just a Jr.

We went to the Doctor's today and got to see her and hear her heart beat. It made it all the more real, We can't wait to meet her. We've decided to go with the name Ava Grace (Brady's choice), It's only fear I got to name Jazmine.
