Hey i'm a newbie and just wondering if anyone has tried anything like an Ab belt, kinda like slendertone? My physios have said that it usually doesn't work to strengthen my trunk muscles namely coz i haven't got any in theory. I just can't help but wonder if given time my abs and back muscles can be strengthened, especially since i can feel them contracting. I should say now that i have altered sensation all over. You never know what might help.

My physical therapist wrote me a script for an EMPI machine. They usually run around $1400. My insurance denied my claim, so EMPI came back and offered me one for $750. This machine is for electronic stimulation for your muscles, including those relating to your core. This has definitely helped me build my core muscles, including abs, neck and back. This is definitely something worth looking into. Good luck!
If you don't try, you fail.
