Don't know whether this has been mentioned on here before as I've not been able to get onto the boards as much recently.

For anyone that is interested we started a blog after Dad took his first breath off the ventilator.
It is the recovery story from the family perspective.
I wish Melanie all the best in her recovery.

Welcome to the site. And do come on here and ask any questions or rant or be happy at each of his steps of progress. It's a good community with a wealth of experience, which is readily shared.

Is there anyway you can copy and paste all the articles she has written.
I know its a massive pain in the bum but I think she is a fantastic writer and I'm being a bit of a cheap skate so don't want to pay for the subscription.
Thank you if you can.

Brings back memories, some bad, but also some good.
I'm back there early next month for a check up, I might try and see if I can say hello if I'm allowed.
