thought some of you might appreciate an old farm truck.

1993 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4, 5.8 (351w) e40d auto tranny, manual locking hubs, locking diffs with 3.73 gears. 31x10.50 tires.

This was a farm truck that sat the last few years after the old man bought a new truck to replace it. The only thing I did was a tune up and clean the gas tank / change the fluids.

It runs like a scalded cat, 10 miles per gallon, loud glass pack duals, no tailgate and the A/C still works...but the bumper is falling off :wink05:

edit...don't mind me, the upload said failed yet it posted 2 pics

Surely not the "because it's run out" trick?

Sounds fun.

93??? still too new.

Nothing like an old truck. Low expectations lead to more smiles than frowns. When you expect something to break,, every mile that it keeps working is a plus.

10 miles per gallon,,, that's those big tires,,, the milage the odometer is lower than for smaller tires,, you're probably getting 12,, just like mine.
