Maybe these girls could teach the millionaire pros something about how to love and respect the sport you are playing. To many times I hear a player doesn't want to play out a contract he has signed because he had a good year and now is the time to hold out for more money.

They do it because they are allowed to get away with it. They let them get away with it because of the incentive it gives ALL the players to have a career season.
When you are in an occupation where one bad pivot or one hard hit could put you back in the unempoyment line,, you take all you can get while you can get it.
Now,, tell me again why baseball players earn so much??????
Personally,,, I couldn't care less. If I'm not playing, then who cares who the winner is?

cant blame the players- if you were offered a giant contract youd take it
cant blame the organizations- theyre turning massive profits, they pay big bucks to pull in even bigger bucks
only people left to blame are the fans- they go to the games, buy the jerseys, etc no matter how much it costs...if they decided they were paying too much to see a game, then theyd stop going until prices dropped...if prices dropped, profits would fall...if profits fall, then player contracts would decrease. So to answer your question: baseball players (any athlete) make so much bc fans allow them to be

Somewhere someone taught those girls the difference between right and wrong. They could have gone on the field and made the other team look like fools just because they can. They didn't. Pros sign a contract obligating themselves and then don't play...just because they can get away with it. Does that make it right? Does it make someone elses fault? Values and morals seem to take a back seat to money all to often. Maybe I'm oldfashioned but I was raised to believe that you treat people the way you want to be treated and that means if I say I'm going to do something then I should do it.
