It's the same with me. It is natural to have AD during workout. The reason is that muscles need more blood but they can't dilate because the nerve signals can't reach under the level of injury, so the BP rises. I have a wrist BP monitor and if it goes too high I stop until I calm down. Ask your doctor if you should get pills during workout.

My workouts are very heavy handed, mass aggression, I don't get AD, I use to take mass supplementation prior to viewing bigger stronger faster now that I'm back in the gym it's mass protein so whether this has something to do with it I'm not sure.
Also, this is a thread Simon put up back in March and might be of use click me

Wheels,
AD appears in SCI above T5-6. You are T8 as well incomplete.
dewittmxracer29 is T4-5 and heavy workout can be dangerous for him. He is very young and now can withstand high BP for a short time, but in
a long term AD surely is damaging first of all his heart. I'll look for a video dealing with workout and AD.

Firstly I would like to thank you for response, there are a lot on this forum who "hold themselves above their fireplace"(a wee south African lady taught me that analogy) and now dismiss my postings due to .........ah we all know by now.
I remember sticking that video up on the forum somewhere, guess I should have paid more attention when viewing it, I was unaware of the levels within SCI who suffered from AD within the T region.
Today I learn, many thanks.
