Hi:
My husband has a lot of diarreah and is developing a few pressure sores. The one that concerns me the most is one in the crack at tailbone. When my first husband was ill 10 years ago and had pressure sores, they used Tegaderm to cover them sometimes, esp if there is a chance it will get "stuff" on them that could infect them. What do you use?
Thanks

For situations like that in that area I would use duoderm. Tegaderm is very flimsy and has to be replaced constantly as opposed to duoderm that can be left on for up to 5 or so days. You can also cut duoderm to fit the area without worrying about borders and then when properly applied it will stick like a second skin.
You need to figure out what is causing the diarrhea and take measures to stop it.
Use a good skin barrier cream as well.
