Hi friends,
I am a T5 paraplegic. I have been active, as I maximally walk with callipers and walker. However, I face the problem of needing somebody to lock and unlock my knee locks in the calliper, while sitting down and standing up. So, can you please provide information about any products or knee locks or joints, which might be helpful to solve this problem (tried ARGO - unsuccessful, tried Becker's spring lever lock, but it does not locks my knee fully and allows flexion. It reaches about 80 degrees, but it does not fully extends to lock.) Thanks, expecting a favorable and helpful reply ASAP.

Hi Sarvan
I don't use calipers so can't help. But lets get this topic back on top of the pile.

I have been practicing with them at therapy, because they are ordering me some custom ones. I don't know all the details about them yet, but when I do, I will try to remember to come back to this thread. One thing they have me do at PT, is to stable myself by hanging on with one hand to the walker or parallel bar, and reach back and unlock one leg. Then I sit with one leg unlocked and the other leg locked. Then after sitting, I can unlock the other one. Hope this helps a little.
