good luck

i like my quickie ti.it's a rigid frame but sunrise medical has a lot of options. i've also had a new halls which was a great chair but i think the company went out of buisness. there's are some great choices but in my experience going with a company that's well know is helpful when you need parts and repairs later on.

Trinny,
Why do you hate Ti? I'm just about to get a ZRa with all the bells and whistles 25" spinergy LX's etc.
I recently (3 monts ago) bought a beat up Top End Terminator Titanium and agree it's a lovely chair and I'll be sorry to let it go but the demonstratror ZRa I tried I loved.
please let me know why your negative?

Def try before you buy, the same as you would try on a pair of shoes or test drive a car. You will be spending a lot of time sat in a chair, if it's not the right one for you then you're screwed!

I tried a ZRa almost exactly my size and loved it, can't wait for mine to come!

The ideal is to try before buying. There are simply so many parameters to a wheel chair. The axle position on a chair may be fine for one, but not another. The rigid v. folding options need to be sorted. Wheel diameter is important. The larger the better for propulsion, but this may impact the on transfers. The cushion is another important issue, Rohos are brilliant for vulnerable bottoms, but make shifting on the seat and transfers much harder.
I am due for a visit to my spinal unit, and will talk (if I get the chance) to wheelchair man, or OT about an omission in rehab. That is to try as many types as possible, from the moment you can actually sit in a chair, using the different models for skills sessions. If you arrive in a heavy NHS chair, as I did, some of the skills are either difficult or not possible.
I hope this is useful to you.

I wrote a letter to the firm's prez. He didn't back off an inch. Think he'd been there since the dawn of man.
