Hello

We are going on our honeymoon next May to Alaska and we are sailing from Vancouver. I was wondering whether anyone could recommend and good hotels in Vancouver and how accessible transport is. We have to make our way from the airport to a hotel and then the hotel to the dock.

Also any recommendations of things to see while we are there prior to our cruise?

Thanks

Dee

Hi Dee

Vancouver is one of the most accessible cities, in my opinion...albeit, I have a biased opinion, but from what I've heard from other visiting paras and quads, they all think Vancouver is pretty accessible. Our transit system is very accessible, I've always been able to get to where I needed to go.

As for hotels, my boyfriend works at the Pan Pacific Hotel. He says the wc rooms are bigger and more spacious than the typical room. Also, the hotel is connected to the cruise ship terminal. Check it out, it's a good hotel.

The next closest hotel is the Fairmont Hotel, which is right across the street.
