So, shaving my legs... it's hard and time consuming. Okay, I'm Asian and I can go an absurdly long time without shaving before it's noticeable but I hate what hassle it is when I do it. Usually my pca does it but sometimes I do. Either way, it's hard. With my hands (I'm a c5) its hard to tell if I'm pressing hard enough or too hard (and I have done that). Same issue with my underarms. But I can't do it by myself since I can't lift my arms high enough and my right hand isn't dexterous enough to hold a razor. It brings problems with ingrown hairs too.

I've though about laser hair removal but its so expensive.

You could try hair removal cream. There is some for sensitive skin and it works great. You basically just rub it on and wipe off. It doesn't involve that much finger movement. You basically just have to be able to rub

I use hair removal cream, it doesn't seem to grow back as coarsely or as fast xx

I recently went from Nair to using an epilady. It lasts longer as I can go about 4 weeks between shaving. I use it under my arms too as I got used to the minimal pain it brings.

I got laser hair removal under my arms, I got 6 sessions for $100 bucks (all) through an ad I saw on Facebook,.. lol, no lie. It's legit, the salon is posh and the results are worth it.

Waiting on their next special, or another salons to start on the legs. You'd be surprised how many high end places run specials on that stuff.

Texas- I tried waxing but it didn't work... my damn Asian leg hair is too fine for the wax. lol. Probably more than you needed.
But I'm getting the cream is the best choice. Hey ladies- the cream, do you use it for just legs or for underarms or more "sensitive" areas too? lol.

i was gonna say, i remember the jingle, you've got nair hair, but i'm male so i only shave my beard, keep my goatee........ but i do the full beard in winter for warmth........

Well, good to know. And Airart, I'll consider growing a beard but I'm pretty fond of my handlebar stache.

Just a quick thought/warning.. Aren't hair removal creams dangerous to use now that we have no sensation? I (on more than 1 occasion) have chemically burnt myself before my accident, when sensation wasn't a problem.. ;-)

Depends. If you had sensitive skin before the injury you probably will after injury. I know that I've always had sensitive skin so its all I've ever dealt with. They make so many new products though, it seems there is something out there for everyone

i was told in the hospital that since i was a complete t/3 t/4 that my may stop growing because of the nerves. no such luck though. is there any truth to this. if so it would be the only good thing about my injury. i have very course black hair ans electric razors don't work. i don't go out alot but when i do my mama shaves them.
