Everything will be alright in the end, if it's not alright then it's not the end!

Really need to get a track day or two booked up to find out what the new car is capable of - you had any issues with the organisers anywhere being a chair user with hand controls? What are you driving and which tracks have you found to be best. Used to do track days before I was injured but only just got a car which would make it worthwhile going.

I have done Silverstone in my old 944 and a quick circuit in my 911 before bottling it as the cost of a prang worried me! lol

I'm going to do some this year! My Volvo V70R running 330BHP is perfect for it! Running an estate around a track reminds me of old 90's TV with the Volvo estate cruising past Cosworth's ,etc in saloon car racing!

I found everyone at Silverstone very helpfull as regards "not treating me differently".

As mentioned before .... Mark Haynes (haynes manuals) runs a competition 911.

Would love to do Nurburg! One day!!!
Life is just to short not to have fun!

I used to do them, although never as much as you OP - maybe three or four times a year: Brands, Bedford, Bruntingthorpe, Nurburgring, Spa, Le Mans Bugatti, and some fun days of driver training like North Weald or with Don Palmer, but sort of just got tired of it.

I think part of my getting bored was the fact that I always used my one and only car (CLK55 AMG) to both get me to the days, use on the track and back home - so I could never be full on on the track. Maybe I should have bought a track car and trailered it - but that seems excessive.

How do others manage - trailer, drive to and and from the day in the car they use of track or have a managed company look after the car for them? I'd be interested to know.
