I was in the P.A Spinal Unit from the 16th March 2009 till 2nd October 2009.
Just wondering if anyone else from Australia has been there.
I was told they have one of the best Rehab progams in Australia.

I was in Greenslopes but I know the PA hospital well having lived in Brisbane most of my life and I have been told the program there is top notch ,the fellow in the room next to mine was transfered there as he wasnt making progress.Greenslopes is a VA hospital and there was only one other person with sci while I was there. My surgeon was Dr Bruce Hall and I think he also works from the PA.

I did my time at Hotel PA from Oct 06 to June 07, and then off and on between about Aug 08 to September'ish 08 having a Baclofen pump put in. Great unit, great staff, couldn't complain at all, except maybe about the fish pie!

16th of March aye??? that was the date I become paralyzed except the year before, 2008. lol

I went to Royal North Shore Hospital, then onto the Moorong Spinal Unit at Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney. I thought it was great. I was at Moorong for 4 months. It wasn't set out like a regular hospital and was set out away from the rest of the rehabiliation units. A lot of people say that it is the best in Australia but I guess everyones going to talki up where they went lol.
