Dont wear mine anymore but you may find your feet swell more, suggest you wear Scholl support socks instead, they go to just below the knee. Don't wear ones which go just to your calf as they give you a dvt.
Ps, to add you can get them on prescription too in uk.

I had my accident in January 1992, and had no problems with swollen feet until 1995. In December 1995, one of my feet swelled up so much that the skin began to split and weep.
I wore support stockings to take the swelling down, and have done since.
They look just like a pair of socks, and I have been told on various occasions by Physio's and Nurses, that my feet are in very good condition considering I am 14 years post SCI.
I saw the feet of a C5 Quad who was in hospital, and his feet were black and blue
, they looked awfull, so I think I'll keep weareing the stockings.

Im gettin 2 point of views here. I appreciate the help. Some people wear them and others dont. I think it all depends on your body and everyone is different.
Exactly. I wear them a year here, a year there, and don't in between. I stop because a new aide doesn't put them on or because someone notices I'm wearing ones that are so old they're not doing anything. Then a year or two later I'll have some swelling and get a new pair. The trick's just to notice what works and try not to get too careless.
