Don't be rediculous! Just toss him in the trunk. Or duct tape him to the hood. They make great hood ornaments. But DO NOT undress him first. Apparently there are laws against driving around with a naked person taped to the hood of yer car. Shit, I had no idea! I'm drivin' down the freeway doin' maybe 75-80. Just listening to some tunes rollin' a booger 'tween my fingers. Got Phil strapped to the front end naked as a jay bird yellin' and screamin' as I weave in and out out of the lanes got one eye closed cause I was seein' double BIG TIME (I'd had quite a bit to drink that day, it bein' a Wednesday an' all) when all of a sudden BAM! Right front tire does a Nagasaki and we're sideways headed for embankment city.

I just let go of the wheel, made sure my leg bag was strapped on nice n' tight an' figured I'd get me a little shut eye 'fore the fireworks started.

Anyway, I'm sure you get the idea. Just be careful is all.

Do a search on "turny seat". There are several models, but the basic idea is that you press a remote, the seat (passenger or driver) swivels out and lowers. You transfer, and then press the remote again to get lifted and swiveled into the vehicle.

My bf uses a long transfer board to get into my van. It's not a smooth trasnfer by any means and I have to help by pushing sometimes but it does the job. Hell sometimes when I get impatient I just pick him up and put him in there myself. I've grown some muscles.

Yes they have transfer boards & there are even some with not only a curve to it but a sliding seat on it so you side them/yourself without having to lift as much of your body weight.

http://www.phc-onlin...ode=Beasy-Trans

I'm not recommending THIS company per say......but the transfer board in the middle is more like the type I was talking about.

Good luck on getting out & about.....road trips can be a lot of fun if you're properly prepared & all. :drive:
