The Top End “Excelerator” XLT is THE CHOICE for handcycle enthusiasts who want maximum power in a recumbent position. The frame and fork geometry adjust so that every rider can use a fast and furious trunk powered position. Control through the turns is even smoother with the new steering dampener. This XLT Gold has newly designed ramped and pinned chain rings for unprecedented ease of shifting in addition, the Top End S crankset incorporates new aluminum crank arms with a redesigned oversized bottom bracket spindle which reduces weight but maximizes stiffness. The 27 speeds operated by the Rapid Fire hands-on shifter/brake delivers smooth, responsive shifting and braking right at your fingertips plus the easy to operate, no cable, virtually maintenance free, manual upper derailleur system takes the guess work out of the chain rings.

Frame Black Prism (deep black with tiny iridescent rainbow specks). Bought new for $3795, ridden 5 times for less than a mile. I was hoping to build strength but instead I've been told to stop wheeling/riding so I won’t be able to ride again. Bike has been kept in insulated garage and carefully tended. My loss is your gain. My price is compatible with Bike-On.com, Ebay etc. and is much lower than most. Price $2400 or best offer. Hopefully someone in Texas will see this ad and want my bike... I really don't want to have to ship it, but I'll consider it.

Please contact me and we can discuss! Picture attached (I hope :)

Hi Christie,

Where do you live? Honestly it's not so much the cost of shipping as it is the taking apart to pack it. I have no clue how to go about doing that and none of our local bike shops have ever seen a handcycle so I'm worried that they could damage it while packing.

Thanks for looking!

I live on the IL/IN border....I can understand, taking it apart and then trying to get it back together on the other end of things can prove to be a great challange! I hope you find a local buyer soon :)

Christie,

Thanks so much! I hope I find someone who wants it as well... it's an awesome bike and I hate that I can't ride any longer - but heck, all we learn to do is keep adapting right??

You're welcome :) I have had to stop my typical exercises for various reasons....the only thing left that I do is basketball and I want a bike just like that so I can go with the kids on bike rides and when we walk the dogs....yep, adapting is an everyday thing :)
