Hmm guess it depends on the day, from adding it up in my head what the minimum I would do in a day it would be 10. Some days probably over 50, but who knows.

How many transfers do you do in a typical day? If you tranfer to the wheelchair from the bed in the morning and then from the wheelchair to the bed at the end of the day, that would count as two.

I do about 16 in a typical day.

If i stay home i do about 16 a day.

Thanks chris3829. I knew what a flounder was but a gigging flounder or as it is gigging a flounder. Just got done watching YouTube videos of how they fish for the flat fish (flounder and fluke) and a history of it all (very interesting).

Anyway...........how many times a day do I transfer has changed as I get stronger and go out more so now it's about an average of 14 to 16 times a day. That includes trips to the bathroom, sitting on the couch, in and out of the bed and sitting in the rocking chair on the lanai. When I get a car it will definitely increase (can't wait!).

Power to the people!

Out of bed, in the tub, back out of the tub, in the car, off to work, out of the car, up and down at the office, back in the car, out of the car at home, toilet, shower, back in bed. More times than not there are a couple ups and downs to the floor, but it's an unpredictable event.

Average, I'd guess about 10-16

somewhere between 12 and 20 on average depends on how busy the day is or if I bounce onto the couch for a change.

I'm a busy momma! I have to get in and out of my chair a lot for comfort reasons. Changing "scenery" seems to help. Then there is getting in the floor to play with the babies, in and out of the van to run kids where they need to go, etc. Transferring has gotten easier though the longer I have been in this chair, so it has been beneficial to make a lot of transfers. Practice makes perfect you know - well, almost.:)
