My legs feel like they're burning esspecially when in bed.I sometimes have to sleep on my front to stop it and get out of bed for a little walk which helps stop it too.

try talking with your Dr.about the the spasms? as far as the "burning" feeling, I think we all go through it. it is just how we put our minds to work and block it. I my self have gotten to the point that I can't wear shoes due to the feeling I can't explain it but it is as you say burning sensation. I have told my Dr. about it and she does the "Ummm,Ahmmm" thing and jots down in her notes and never says any thing. I think it is some thing that we have to live with as best as we can.

My burning pain is getting alot worse..it's driving me insane.
I try listening to music when I go to sleep so i'm concentrating on something else other then the pain.

I have the same problem, I refer the burning to electricity, like being electricuted.
I take the Lyrica 75 mg morning then 75 mg at night and Oxycontin 10 mg. Then my legs are peaceful and I have some peace too.

Hope you find a Dr that will listen, however I have found the past year that I have had to inform and educate my Dr. He admits I probably know more about my condition than he does and he is willing to work with me, and he does.

I understand the neurontin is very similar to the Lyrica.

Hope you find a solution and put the fire out.

Well hopefully this doesn't go strait to the "hot pot". I've had the burning problems in my legs and buttocks, and feeling like there are 100's of hot needles all over my legs too. I've tried the neuronton and Valium and quite a few heavy duty narcotics. I can only say that I no longer have that "going insane" feeling like juls talked about. I still hurt don't get me wrong........but using marijuana has really mad a big difference for me. I don't take anything for the neuropathy aside from the marijuana and having a TENS unit. I still take Darvocet and Flexerall now and then in good weather and then generally more often when it is rainy outside. I haven't found anything that works anywhere near as well at knocking out neuropathic pain like the marijuana does. I know that it's legality is of some question (especially depending on where you live). I can only pass along what has worked for me and hope that you find something that helps take away the pain for you as well.

I have the 24/7 burning. I have it in my hands, toosh, legs, and feet. I use gabapentin three times a day, plus take darvacet, usually once or twice a day. Mine never goes away, the only thing that changes is the intensity.

My spasms are the worst at night. And, again, some are worse than others.

Have any of you looked into a spinal cord stimulator?
Mine helps a GREAT DEAL.
