Unfortunately, it appears that at some time in the past, the Friends database has been corrupted, and as a result, the Friends function is now not working correctly.

The only way to correct this is by deleting the Friends database, and starting from scratch again. This will mean you will have to add your friends again.

The deletion of this database will take place on the 20th August 2010.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is something which needs to be done to maintain the smooth running of the forum.

Regards

Simon

Hey Simon, I still see friends in my friends list, so I took a screen shot using print screen, pasted it into a word document so I can update my friends list after the purge...is there a way via the site I can print a list out?
Only after we have lost everything, are we free to do anything.

Hi,

The only way to print your friends list out is to go to you profile, select "(View all)" under your friends icons in your profile, and print the whole page out.

Also ...

Members will now have to approve friend requests, this is to stop new members adding loads of friends they don't know, which can be used by spammers under certain circumstances.

Simon :)

Spoiler

:drunk: Can remember a few but when I saw the friends avatars gone in my profile I didn't know what happened until I started poking around trying to find Simon to ask about it; I was truly sad.

A fresh start :type:

Actually I do remember the names of all of them and will be sending out re-requests soon :muahaha:

Let me see; how do I do that........ :paper:

Okay, so I went to my own profile and clicked on my peeps that have leave comments so I could re-add them to my friends list, but when I go to their profile it says "remove me as a friend" as my only option. But on my profile it says I don't have any friends! Sadness! (and also confusion)
