Hello All
I have been having burning feeling in my thigh muscles off and on for the last two years
in the hospital after i first started having some feeling in my legs it was only the thighs on fire on both legs , i would beg to have someone turn me over to help find some relief i was unable to turn myself.
I have found something that may help us, after two years of pain,
I wrap the thigh with an ace bandage over the places that seem to be on fire and it seems to help my burning pain i don't wrap to tight just to put some pressure on the place that is burning. you can try it and see if it helps you..
I sure hope this helps someone else as it seems to work for me.. i wish all a better day than they can even dream. love you all, Ed

I also have that burning in my thigh pain. It happens mostly in my left thigh. I have always rubbed it real hard and it will diminish. I am sure I look stupid sitting there rubbing my leg but I don't care - it helps! It is not 24/7 so whenever it starts I try to "put the fire out" by starting to rub hard on it immediately. It will ease it up anyway.

I find my biggest muscle pains and hypertonic flare ups come when I've been in one position too long. In other words, the problem is lack of circulation. So yes, wrapping or rubbing will help. Increasing meds does not seem to help. so i set my alarm for hourly activity.
