Hi, I bought a used Quickie S-525 power chair for my wife. I would like to put a bracket on it to lock it down in an ezlock in the van. The brackets are way to expensive for us. Does anyone out there know where on the net I can go to find a picture or diagram of of one that will fit on the S-525. thank you very much for your help.

All I know is it uses a 5/8's grade 8 bolt for the locking pin. I would imagine you can make your own bracket out of 1/4" steel if you remove the batteries. I have a quickie 646se bracket see if they are the same. If so I can help you out.

Thank's for the help. I checked and I don't know how much difference there is. But there are two different brackets. One for the 646se and one for the 525. thanks again for the information and have a great day.

Most e-z lock adapters can be easily made or adapted. Last weekend I took the e-z lock adapter off my Jazzy 1170XL and put it on a Jazzy 614HD and all I had to do or get done I should say is drill new holes and adjust the bolt.

1.4" steel plate is correct with a 5/8" grade 8 bolt and locking nut is all you need and have it drilled.

Redman power chairs wants $700.00 for a steel plate 1/2" thick X 24" long with a bunch of 5/8" holes in it. Rediculas!!!! I bought online a 1/2" aluminum plate X 3" wide and drilled the holes myself.
