I just found this site yesterday, and I'm so glad I did. My boyfriend is paralyzed from the waist down, has been for the past 24 years due to a car accident. He is the most wonderful person in the world, and I'm so thankful he is in my life.

I guess I never realized how many people I can relate to, and can relate to me. And no, I didn't know him before his accident and fell madly in love with him the way he is. And I couldn't be happier.
He is the absolute love of my life.

It's great to find a forum where I can ask questions and address any concerns I may have,
as well as meet new people .

Welcome to the site.. I'm sure you'll find all the support, company, and information that you want/need.. People are friendly and supportive and always ready to help whenever they can.. ;-)

It's true Kdev.
Don't go telling everyone, but yes, we have superpowers.
It's the same principle as the blind person who has developed exceptional hearing abilities.
Our brains no longer control the major limbs of our bodies and so are redirected into developing abilities no other humans have.
For instance....
We are able to control peoples minds so that they open doors for us.
We have infiltrated the consciousness of our municipal leaders and manipulated them into giving us awesome parking spaces at the mall.
We have the ability to control matter itself and henceforth make the molecular structure of a pair of shoes last four times longer than usual.
When we knock peoples shins and ankles in a crowd we are able to change their perception of the event and make them apologise to us.
The list is quite extensive. I could go on but the plutonium for my galactic death ray is boiling over so I'll have to run. :muahaha:
But welcome to the realm of mind and matter control that is SCI.
