Yep it happened to me too
Oh right thanks Dave, I was just gonna leave them as I don't wear shoes. The one blister is big, one small and the others are flat with nothing in them if that makes sense? I don't even know how to get hold of a district nurse, may have to call doctors as soon as I get up tomo?

Mend quickly
Bare in mind that cold will stop the healing process for 24-48 hours
So in winter wrap up leg and foot ulcers
Do not wash ulcers with cold water, always use warm water
This info brought to you from my Podiatry nurse which i see every 2-3 weeks

*Wheelchairs are made of a special ocular magnetic alloy......they're "eyeball magnets".*
*I USE a wheelchair, that does NOT make ME a wheelchair!*

No need to be annoyed with yourself. This was your first injury related injury and all humans learn the hard way. It is just who we are. Anger at oneself is a waste of precious energy, and you need that energy to heal your precious foot.

My daftest was to sit on a Stanley Knife while on the floor laying some carpet tiles
Just take care of it like everyone says and be careful that any dressings don't cause problems in their own right.

You might be able to get a Dressings Nurse or a Tissue Viability Nurse on to it - they are a bit more specialist, and have really helped me on a couple of occasions. But even if it's a District Nurse, good that doctor is taking it seriously.
