There is a trade show or exhibition in Germany at the end of next week. The US distributor said information will be available then. That was his response this morning and he said no information will be available before the show. Sounds like he is going to the show.

look forward to it. I also found one photo with a german caption on the prasch site that appear to be newer design, look to be similar geometry but new engineering.

Google Translate interprets the caption as...

I wish they could have released it a bit eirler in the year. The season has ended here in Aus and I've got set on getting a Nissin before I head to Vail next year. But it would have been great to see all the latest options.

thats the photo i was talking about,
but i am sure you will be great with the nissin, i am actually a bit jealous. they are really highly adjustable and look great. I may even switch to one next year, if i can afford it.

there are sort of two concepts that overlap a little , the bent leg low feet like the prasch and tessier. and the striaghter higher feet like the KB, RPC, etc. the nissin is sort of part way between.

like i said, from what i could deduce from the photo (which isnt much) the change isnt dramatic in terms of geometry. I feel it will be very similar but an improvement in term of the engineering.
In fact i predict the pivot points will be the same.

A friend has been talking about making a rig based on the prasch pivot points but out of lighter materials etc. a project for the summer.

Yeah, tough decisions on these things, being so expensive. I'm happy with my used Prash but it needs some work and I would still like something else. The HOC looks good. The Nissin looks good. The Scarver looks good.

The Nissin, HOC and Scarver all seem to sit pretty high off the snow. My main concern is getting up from a fall. I want to be as independant as possible and I worry about this with the tall rigs.

i think the Scarver and nissin would be fine but the HOC looks high.

Yeah, muscles for picking myself off the snow. Working on it all the time. Skiing has been great motivation for geting in better shape.

The end of next week is now the end of this week. Last week I said the end of next week. It is now next week. But it is not the end of next week.

Qman, your desk location is both a blessing and a disaster for obvious reasons.

Got an email from the US distributor who said he saw the new ski yesterday and that it looks good. No photos or other details in the email. More info "soon" is what he said.

Just posted some info on the new Praschberger at AdaptiveSportsForums.com. I'm on a work break and don't have time to post it all here right now. Feel free to repost the info here if you would like.

My quick review is that it looks nice. An improvement on the current model but not a redesign. Expensive.
